TT Awarded £7m Design & Build Contract
Deep Heat manufacturer Mentholatum has placed a £7M order with TT
to design and construct their new production facility in East Kilbride.
The project, which is known as Project Springboard, will give Mentholatum a new production and research facility with increased production capacity, office and laboratory accommodation by Summer 2009. Over the last year, Mentholatum have worked very closely with TT to develop their requirements, budgets and funding opportunities.
The project delivery strategy is a joint effort by deploying key personnel from TT East Kilbride and Glossop offices and local presence from East Kilbride has been crucial in securing this business over aggressive nationwide competition. Likewise, the local reference sites proved extremely beneficial for Mentholatum when it came to making their decision to select TT.
Regional Manager and Project Leader, Dom Callan stated, “The success
so far has been identifying and presenting a coordinated team from TT to
compliment and engage with Mentholatum. By integrating resources from East
Kilbride and Glossop, we have managed to consistently exceed the Client’s
expectations.”
